Overview of the Course: This course identifies the various sections of the Code of Virginia dealing with ethics and their applicability to public employees having official responsibility for procurement transactions. You will review and discuss ethical responses to various business scenarios, especially as it relates to public procurement. The information in this class will assist you in promoting and establishing confidence in the ethical standards at your entity.
Learning Objectives:
- Develop the ability to recognize and identify potential ethical dilemmas within procurement scenarios.
- Learn and apply appropriate strategies and frameworks for handling ethical dilemmas encountered in real-world procurement situations.
- Acquire the skills and knowledge to effectively engage and motivate employees, leadership, vendors, and all stakeholders involved in the procurement process.
- Foster an open and supportive environment where employees feel comfortable discussing and addressing ethical concerns.

- In either case, you will enter the names of each of your staff members on the next step. Click "Select Member" and then search the last name of the staff person, select them from the list, and proceed to do that same thing for the remaining members.
- Complete your registration like normal. Once you get to the payment page, you can download your invoice, pay right there with a credit card, or hit "pay later" if you prefer to send a check. You can view your open invoice from your membership profile at any time if you want to pay later.
